Kyoryen Hwang is a Ph.D. candidate in Science Studies at the Seoul National University. He is interested in history of the experimental life sciences, especially on industrial use of organisms in agriculture and pharmaceuticals. He is working on the dissertation about the global history of the development of typhoid vaccines since 1920s.
